Real Art Make Print (RAMP) is based at Ocean Studios, in Plymouth’s historic Royal William Yard. It’s is a hub for creators, from artists to designers, makers and crafts people, bringing collaboration and innovation. Our specialist printmaking facilities and flexible studio spaces are a place to enable connections between professionals, exchanging ideas and sparking potential collaborations within our community.
Print facilities
Ocean Studios houses a wide range of printmaking equipment, from traditional presses to modern practices to experiment with various techniques including: Screenprint, relief printing, letterpress, drypoint, risograph, collagraph, monoprinting, gelliprinting.
We provide affordable and flexible membership options, to suit various needs and budgets, starting from half-days, to monthly plans, providing flexibility for you to work at your own convenience and open to all skill levels.
Collaborative Workspace
Bring your creative ideas to life in our naturally lit meeting room and collaborative spaces, encouraging local businesses, organisations and creative practitioners to plan and make positive change in our space.
Studio Spaces
Since 2015, Ocean Studios has been Plymouth’s hub for local creators, a place for students, start-ups, graduates and established creatives to grow and develop their practices.
Cafe
In the heart of Ocean Studios, you’ll find our creative café, serving delicious vegan and vegetarian food. Your first port of call to check-in for events, workshops and exploring exhibitions. A place to connect, work and meet.
