Join RAMP for a four-week fabric printing workshop, where you’ll explore the art of screen printing on fabric!
Whether you’re established designer, artist, maker, or complete beginner, this hands-on course will guide you through the entire process—from concept to finished textile.
Over four weekly sessions, you’ll develop a two-color print design, experiment with repeat patterns, and print onto fabric using professional techniques.
What You’ll Learn & Do:
Session 1, Wednesday, 12th March: Develop your design – sketch, paint & plan a repeat pattern.
Session 2, Wednesday, 19th March: Prepare acetates, set up screens & mix your custom color palette.
Session 2, Wednesday, 26th March: Test print, refine your technique & start printing on fabric.
Session 2, Wednesday, 2nd April: Add a second color, heat-set your design & finish your final pieces.
All inks, screens, emulsions, and test fabrics are provided. Participants will need to bring their own fabric for final prints.
